Student Behaviour Support Plan

Student Behaviour Support Plan
St Clare’s Primary School

At St Clare’s Primary School, we believe the most effective way to assist students to demonstrate behaviours optimal for learning is through a school wide positive problem solving approach.

Positive Behaviour for Learning is about people, practices and processes – it is not a program but the way we work. A focus on learning, capability building, wise and thorough use of data, and identifying and spreading good evidence-based practice are all integrated into the PB4Learning strategy.

St Clare's has developed a process for Learning & Teaching Positive Behaviours at school. This process supports teachers to respond positively when students display unproductive behaviours. The focus is on teaching students the skills required to behave appropriately in the school context.
